Bayer Animals’ brands, Advocate, Profender and Advantage, are all treatment products for cats.

The Challenge

As niche products sold only at veterinary clinic, Bayer Animal wanted to connect and build an intimate relationship with the broader community of cat owners to increase sales and brand exposure of their product range.

The Strategy

Tick Yes’ strategy involved and online community that revolved around users’ passion for their pets, and to connect them to each other and to the brand. Interactive site features that allowed users to share videos and photos of their pets, write their own blog posts and communicate using the online forum were used to develop brand loyalty and word of mouth marketing.

The Results

After several months of operation, membership of the Cat Diaries site has gown into the thousands and the twitter account for Cat Diaries has over 200 followers.
