As niche products sold only at veterinary clinic, Bayer Animal wants to connect and buildintimate relationships with the dog owning and loving community to increase sales and encourage brand advocacy
Tick Yes’ strategy involved and online community that revolved around users’ passion for their pets, and to connect them to each other and to the brand. Interactive site features that allowed users to share videos and photos of their pets, write their own blog posts and communicate using the online forum were used to develop brand loyalty and word of mouth marketing.
After several months of operation, membership of the Dog Diaries site has grown into the thousands and the Dog Diaries twitter account is close to reaching 500 followers.
